Mark G. Gustafson, C.A.
CHAIRMAN & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Mark began his career with Price Waterhouse in 1981. He received his Chartered Accountant designation in 1983 and continued working in Price Waterhouseâs Calgary office until 1987. Since then he has held numerous senior positions in both private and public oil and gas, and oilfield service companies including EnServ Corporation, Total Energy Services Ltd. and Torrent Energy Corporation. Mark joined EnServ Corporation in 1987 and was the companyâs Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of the Rental and Environmental divisions until 1993. EnServ was acquired by Precision Drilling. Mark was the CEO of Total Energy Services Ltd. from 1997 to 1999 and the CEO of Torrent Energy Corporation from 2004 to 2006. He has been the CEO of Triangle Petroleum Corporation since May, 2005.

Howard Anderson, P.Eng.
PRESIDENT & CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Howard Anderson joined Triangle Petroleum Corporation on February 1, 2008 as Vice-President Engineering and Chief Operating Officer. Effective August 15, 2008, Mr. Anderson was appointed President of Triangle Petroleum Corporation. Since June 30, 2008, Mr. Anderson has held the title of President of Triangle’s two operating subsidiaries, Elmworth Energy Corporation and Triangle USA Petroleum Corporation.

Mr. Anderson brings more than 28 years of senior management and petroleum engineering experience to Triangle. Most recently, Mr. Anderson was a founder and Vice-President Engineering at Rockyview Energy Inc. (2005 to 2008), a startup E&P company which increased production from under 1,000 BOE/day to over 3,000 BOE/day, including significant coalbed methane development in Alberta. At Pioneer Natural Resources Canada Inc., between 2002 and 2004, Mr. Anderson was Vice-President Engineering & Development, sharing responsibility for the company’s success in deep underbalanced horizontal Foothills drilling, shallow gas infill development, and medium depth exploitation.

At Canadian Hunter Exploration Ltd. from 1987 to 2002, Mr. Anderson participated in and led teams which established several new high-value areas such as the Brassey miscible oilfield development, Ring-Border gas field, Claresholm gas field, and corporate M&A. Following the acquisition of Canadian Hunter by Burlington Resources in 2001, he continued with Burlington’s New Ventures group, gaining exposure to unconventional gas development from coals and shales.

Mr. Anderson started his career at Esso Resources Canada Ltd. in 1979, developing skills in reservoir engineering, resource economics and production operations in a progression of engineering roles. Mr. Anderson received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics from Queen’s University at Kingston in 1979.

Shaun Toker, CA
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER & CORPORATE SECRETARY

Shaun Toker has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of the Company, effective August 17, 2007. Prior to joining Triangle, Mr. Toker was the Controller for an American Stock Exchange and Toronto Stock Exchange listed company with oil and gas production in The Republic of Yemen and in Alberta, Canada. As Controller from 2004 to 2007, he was responsible for the overall management of the financial reporting requirements, including the preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with both Canadian and US GAAP and the development and implementation of procedures and controls with respect to compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. He obtained a Chartered Accountant designation during his tenure as a Senior Accountant at KPMG from 2004 to 2007. Mr. Toker audited publicly traded oil and gas companies ranging from junior exploration and development companies to medium sized energy trusts and large producers. Prior thereto, he worked as a Financial Accountant with BP Amoco.

Clarence Campbell
VICE-PRESIDENT, EXPLORATION

Mr. Campbell was appointed to the position of Vice-President, Exploration on August 21, 2007 to direct all phases of the Company's exploration in Canada and the United States. He brings more than 25 years of Canadian and International experience to the Company, primarily as a result of his tenure with (i) RPI Canada Ltd., from 1982 to 1986, a geological and environmental consulting company that has worked extensively on both Canadian and US projects; (ii) Stoakes Consulting Group, from 1986 to 1992 and 2002 to 2007, a geological consulting company located in Calgary which has worked on numerous projects in Western Canada, Eastern Canada (onshore and offshore), South America, Africa, Asia and the Middle East; and (iii) Capstan Consulting, from 1992 to 2002, an East Coast consulting firm responsible for many geological projects internationally, in Western Canada and both onshore and offshore Eastern Canada. In addition to his consulting experience, Mr. Campbell has also taught numerous courses for industry relating to petroleum geology both domestically and internationally.

Mr. Campbellâs extensive Eastern Canadian exploration experience was gained through a four year project for Devon Energy and Northstar Energy, Inc. which included the geological mapping of the entire Maritimes Basin (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island) and subsequent evaluation programs for EOG Resources, Inc. and Husky Energy as well as other clients in this area. His experience has led directly to Elmworthâs resource play exploration program in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. He received a BSC in Geology from Dalhousie University in 1978 followed by graduate work in the MSC program at the University of South Carolina.

Brad Affleck
OPERATIONS MANAGER

Brad Affleck was appointed Operations Manager of the Company effective July 9, 2007. Prior to joining Triangle, Mr. Affleck was the Production Operations Manager for Cordero Energy Inc. (TSX:COR), an independent exploration and development company pursuing conventional oil and natural gas production as well as coalbed methane development in western Canada. As Production Operations Manager of Cordero from 2005 to 2007, he was responsible for overall management of field operations, including managing operating expenses within the top quartile of companies at less than $4.00 per barrel of oil equivalent (ãBOEä) and designing and installing facilities and pipelines resulting in production of more than 3,800 BOE per day.

From 1999 to 2005, Mr. Affleck held senior operations and senior engineering technologist positions at several companies, including NAL Resources Limited (TSX:NAE.UN), an investment trust that generates distributions through the acquisition, development, production and marketing of oil and natural gas, and TransCanada Midstream, a leader in the responsible development and reliable operation of North American energy infrastructure. He obtained a Chemical Engineering Diploma at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and is a Registered Engineering Technologist.

Andy Prefontaine
LAND MANAGER

Andy Prefontaine joined Elmworth Energy Corp. in September 2006 as Land Manager. Mr. Prefontaine began his career in the land department of Mustang Resources Inc. in 2002. He graduated from the University of Calgary with a Commerce Degree and a Major in Petroleum Land Management. Subsequent to the sale of Mustang in 2005, Mr. Prefontaine joined Pioneer Natural Resources Canada where he helped to manage core areas throughout Alberta and British Columbia. In each of these positions, Mr. Prefontaine worked closely with the exploration departments to secure land positions on emerging conventional and unconventional prospects. Mr. Prefontaine has also been an active CAPL member since 2003.
